Through our private practice clinics, we spend time working with you to devise individualised nutrition advice for all aspects of nutrition including general health, well being and dealing with medical issues. Consultations include a dietary assessment with written and verbal advice. Follow up consultations are provided as necessary to continue supporting your dietary and lifestyle changes and provide additional information and education. We can also undertake body composition assessment, provide individualised meal plans, give tips for cooking and shopping, and provide regular recipe updates.

Our weight control program supports you in identifying key areas in your diet and / or lifestyle, then helps you to work through implementing realistic changes. We spend time working out how best to break those old habits and create new, healthier ones. Our step by step program can be tied into a fitness regimen with the help of our recommended personal training associates. We also have special strategies for teenagers and children.

Impaired Glucose Tolerance and Diabetes

More and more Australians are now being diagnosed with impaired glucose tolerance (IGT) or diabetes. Of great concern is that what was once an old person’s disease, is now appearing in relatively young or middle aged individuals. It can be a frightening prospect, especially when there is a plethora of confusing information around, along with the threat of numerous long term side effects if blood glucose levels are not controlled.

As accredited practicing dietitians, we pride ourselves on keeping up to date with the current treatments and management for IGT and diabetes, and will help to clarify all the confusion. This incudes an explanation of the Glycaemic Index and Glycaemic load. Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)

Underweight problems may relate to eating disorders, loss of appetitie due to illness/surgery/medication, restricted food preferences (fussy eaters) or inability to gain weight for sport.
